Receive SMS by country
Each country guide covers the dialing code, the services that list routes for that country, how an order works and answers to common questions.
One-time numbers only: one number, one service, one 20-minute order. Prices and availability are cached supplier estimates, and a number is assigned only when an order is placed.

How receiving an SMS works
- Choose the app or website that will send the code, then the country the number should belong to.
- Check the listed price for that pair. Listed prices and availability are cached supplier estimates. A number is assigned only when the order is placed, and allocation can fail.
- Place the order from the dashboard or the API. The price is taken from your prepaid account balance when the number is assigned.
- Enter the number where the app asks for a phone number. When the SMS arrives, the message is shown on the order in your dashboard and returned by the API.
Why the country matters
The country decides the dialing code the app sees and which routes are listed. Some apps accept a number from any country, while others limit sign-ups by region, so the same app can be listed in one country and missing in another. Prices also differ by country. Each country guide lists the services that currently have a route there.
Order rules
- An order stays open for 20 minutes. A number is for one service and one order.
- If no SMS arrives before the order expires, the charge is credited back to your account balance automatically.
- You can cancel an open order once 2 minutes have passed and no code has arrived, and the charge is credited back to your account balance. Asking for another SMS and finishing an order early are not available.
- A listing does not reserve a number.
- Balance top-ups are currently accepted by cryptocurrency only. The minimum top-up is $2.
