Payment policy

How you add funds, when a payment is credited, how orders are charged, and what to do when a payment goes wrong.

A prepaid balance

You add money to your account first and spend it as you place orders. Nothing is billed afterwards, there is no subscription, and no payment method is stored for repeat charges.

The balance and all prices are in US dollars.

Ways to pay

Balance top-ups are currently accepted by cryptocurrency only. The smallest top-up is $2.

The coins, networks and other methods you can use are listed on the top-up screen when you create an invoice. Which local methods appear depends on your country, and a method shown elsewhere may not be offered to you. Payments are handled by external payment processors; we never receive your card details or wallet keys and never ask for them.

Any fee is shown before you create the invoice. Your own wallet or exchange may add a network or withdrawal fee that we do not set and do not receive.

When a payment is credited

Creating an invoice is a request to pay, not a payment. Your balance goes up once the processor tells us the payment has been completed: for cryptocurrency, once the funds have arrived and been confirmed on the network. How long that takes depends on the method, and for crypto on the coin and how busy its network is.

Pay each invoice once, to the address and on the network shown for that invoice, before it expires. Do not reuse the address from an older invoice.

Keep the invoice ID and the transaction hash until the balance has updated.

How orders are charged

The price of a number is shown before you confirm. Confirming takes that amount from your balance and creates the order. Your wallet is not charged again.

A top-up, an order charge and a refund are three separate entries in your transaction history. That history is the record we both rely on.

When a payment goes wrong

If funds were sent but the balance has not changed, wait for the network to confirm, then contact support with the invoice ID, the transaction hash, the coin, the network and the amount.

If you sent a different amount from the one on the invoice, used the wrong network, or paid after the invoice expired, contact support with the same details. We will trace the payment with the processor. Funds sent on a network the invoice did not offer may not be recoverable.

Never send a seed phrase, a private key or your password to anyone, including us.

Checks on payments

We may review, hold or decline a payment, and pause an account, when something about it needs checking. Payment processors also run their own checks and may decline a payment.

If you have a problem with a payment, contact us before raising a dispute with a payment provider. A dispute opened without contacting us may lead to the account being paused until it is settled.

Taxes and records

Prices do not include sales tax, VAT or similar taxes. You are responsible for any tax due on your purchases where you live.

Every top-up and order appears in your dashboard history, which you can use as your record of payment.
